| I believe that the
premise that all things happen when we are abiding in Jesus and in the
Father's love, that is when our fruitfulness will happen and continue.
God as a consuming fire, but also love makes the most certain quality to
withstand God's final judgment love within us; Paul affirms this in 1
Cor. 13 and John in his first epistle. Father's love enables us to do
what we have to do if we manifest His presence, forgiveness, healing,
the gospel - His love constrains us - 'and now what avails, faith which
works through love'. Too many people miss God as they try to accomplish
His mandates, before fulfilling His commandments. In fact you can only
fulfil the second commandment after the first is a reality in your life.
We are often most critical of ourselves, so how can we love our
neighbour as ourselves unless we see them through the same eyes of mercy
and grace that have invaded our own lives. |
